Name: Edwin Garcia Maldonado

Born in the city of Merida in Merida state, Venezuela. Grows and lives from early childhood in Tachira state, surrounded by the mountains of the Venezuelan Andes.

Education: Bachelor in 2006 culminating in Basic Education. Universidad de Los Andes-Táchira, Venezuela, currently a student of Visual Arts, Faculty of Arts, University of Los Andes, Venezuela

Name: Edwin Garcia Maldonado

At the moment it raises further the consolidation of a personal and autonomous artistic language that allows a host to express feelings and ideas of residents in the depths and recesses of the soul. Expressionist influences that seek to provide power through lines, colors and shapes, coupled with the conceptual load induced each of the work proposed.

Philosophically and conceptually, is to explore and act out the existential problems of the individual, depending on the search, recognition and connection to the primitive nature of every being.

Has participated for several years in various group exhibitions and individual.
